Why jojoba?

Jojoba is a liquid wax ester that closely mimics your skin's own sebum, so it absorbs quickly without clogging pores or leaving a greasy film. It suits oily, dry, sensitive and mature skin alike. Eliézer Clay was founded by Nadine, a qualified beauty therapist with more than 20 years of professional experience. This is the oil she used in treatments long before she put her name on a jar of it.

Using jojoba oil on your face

Jojoba oil works as a face moisturiser on its own. After cleansing, warm 3 to 4 drops between your fingertips and press into damp skin, morning or night. For oily or combination skin, use 2 drops at night. For dry skin, layer it over your usual cream. It also removes makeup gently: massage a few drops over dry skin and wipe off with a warm cloth.

How to use it

As your daily moisturiser: press 3 to 4 drops into damp skin, morning or night. Smooth the last drop through hair ends to tame dryness.

Will it make oily skin worse? No. Because it's so similar to your skin's natural sebum, it absorbs cleanly and can help oily skin feel more balanced.

How long does a jar last? Used daily, two to three months. A little goes a long way.

Why doesn't it need a preservative? Jojoba naturally resists oxidation. Stored away from direct sunlight it keeps for years, not months.
